Healthy leaders help build healthy churches, ministries, families, and communities. Yet around the world, many pastors and ministry leaders are carrying extraordinary burdens with relatively little support. Recent research indicates that 94% of ministry leaders experience high levels of stress, while 24–42% have considered leaving ministry altogether due to exhaustion, emotional strain, and isolation. Studies also show that nearly half of ministry leaders report persistent loneliness, often lacking safe relationships where they can openly share their challenges.

These pressures are global. Whether serving in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, or North America, leaders face growing demands, increasing complexity, and heightened expectations. Many are expected to be preacher, counselor, administrator, mentor, and community leader all at once, often without the support structures needed for long-term personal health and sustainability.

Through relationships with pastors and ministry leaders in more than 20 nations, DNI creates safe spaces where leaders can honestly share their challenges and receive prayer, Godly counsel, encouragement, and authentic community.
