A shared mission, a transformed community

We bring churches and ministries together around a shared mission so communities can experience the transforming life of Jesus.

Imagine every Bible-based, Jesus-following congregation in a community agreeing to pray together, serve their community in partnership, and share the love of Jesus with those who don’t know Him. What kind of impact could this have?

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit … And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18–20 (NIV)

Why Communities Matter

While personal transformation is essential, God’s heart extends beyond individuals.

Throughout Scripture, God works through marriages, families, communities, cities, and nations. The Great Commission calls us not only to make disciples of individuals, but to disciple people groups to live out the ways of Jesus in every sphere of life.

When churches and ministries work together in prayer, evangelism, and discipleship, communities are given repeated opportunities to encounter the love of Jesus and experience the transforming power of the Gospel.

Transformation is a team effort

We believe communities are transformed when churches and ministries work together to make disciples.

No single church or ministry can fulfill the Great Commission by themselves. But when Christ-followers unite in prayer, evangelism, and discipleship, the Body of Christ can have a far greater impact than any one organization working independently.

As communities encounter Jesus, learn His ways, and submit to His leadership, Gospel transformation can begin to influence families, churches, schools, businesses, governments, and every sphere of society.

Bringing the Body of Christ together

DNI helps bring churches and ministries together around a shared mission of sustained Gospel transformation.

Through strategic partnerships, community prayer initiatives, evangelistic campaigns, discipleship training, and ongoing collaboration, we help create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and impact the communities where they live.

Over the years, these initiatives have contributed to community, city, and even national impact as believers unite around Christ’s Great Commission.

What community transformation looks like

  • People entering into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • A culture of united prayer that crosses denominational lines and impacts communities.
  • A lifestyle of united evangelism that gives every man, woman, and child in the community repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the Good News of Jesus.
  • A lifestyle of discipleship where believers are equipped with an awareness of the mission God has entrusted to them of discipling others in their sphere of influence.
  • Churches and ministries working together in greater unity around the Great Commission.
  • Communities increasingly influenced by the values, teachings, and transforming life of Jesus.

Stories of Transformation

New believers wade into a river with a pastor for baptism while others watch from the bank.

“I have never seen anything like this before. I can only say that God has been in this! We went out into the highways and byways, serving the community, sharing the Gospel, praying, and worshipping.”

“We thank you and the international team for being sensitive to what the Spirit of God is saying and putting into action what is needed for this season of fasting and prayer – the prayer guide. It has to be of God, working well in advance for such a time as this. I am over the moon right now to see how God has gone before us and things just keep falling in place…… AWESOME AMAZING GOD!!”
